Glenwood Line Face Frame Series
Is available in all door styles and 6 wood species in more
than a dozen wood colors.
Cabinet Box
34 1/2" high box. Installed with standard 1 1/4"
thick countertops, this 36" height is aligned to the
height of your stove and dishwasher.
Cabinet interiors
All natural Birch plywood. Top quality furniture finish provides
maintenance free surface for years of use.
Frames
Cabinet frames are constructed of 3/4" thick solid wood
which is glued and screwed together by a joinery technique
from behind the visual face surface. It provides a superior
joint and conceals any visible face fastening.
Shelves
Standard shelves are 3/4" thick G2S Birch plywood with
a Real-wood edge tape on the front edge. All standard shelves
are fully adjustable fitting securely with 6mm shelf supports.
Gables
Gables are 1/2" thick plywood and are securely fastened
to the face frame by a 1/4" dado groove in the back The
joint is glued and stapled.
Tops and Bottoms
Tops and bottoms of cabinets are 1/2" thick G2S Birch
plywood which is dadoed into the gables and back side of face
frame and secured with wood glue and staples.
Backs
Full backs on all standard cabinets are 1/4" thick G1S
Birch plywood. The back is held securely in a partially captive
groove in the gable for extra strength. For easier installation
a solid Birch nailor strip on top and bottom is dadoed into
the gable and then glued and stapled to provide an outstanding,
durable joint.
Corner Blocks
A plywood corner block is placed in each corner of all base
cabinets for extra strength and provides a method to attach
countertops..
Drawer Slides
Drawer slides are from Blum "230M" single extension
slide mounted with self closing feature which has a static
load bearing of 75 pounds, and come with a "LIFETIME
WARRANTY".
Drawer Boxes
Drawer boxes are constructed of 1/2" thick G2S Birch
plywood. Drawer bottom spans entire bottom with 1/2"
G1S Birch plywood and bears full weight of box. The entire
weight is than transferred using Blum's under mount slides
Hinges
180 degree hinge opening provide complete access to cabinet
contents and do not inhibit approach. Standard wrap-around
hinge is standard, which conceals any face mounted screws.
Other hinge options are available and all come fully adjustable.
Adjustable Shelves
1 adjustable shelf with every base door cabinet. 2 adjustable
shelves with every 30" high wall cabinet. Others may
be added.
Standard 84
Our standard top alignment height is 84" high cabinetry
and is available also in 90" or 96" heights. We
have retained a standard tall cabinet height for easy remodeling
installation without compromising accessibility. Spend less
for installation because costly ceiling or soffit replacement
is not required.
Toe Kicks
Toe kicks are 4" high and 3" deep.
